“Creative Residency for Sustainability” pilot presentation @ AVARA/ Art & Tech <3 Sustainability event in Oulu, Finland

“Creative Residency for Sustainability” pilot is visiting the AVARA – Art & Tech < 3 Sustainability event in Oulu, Finland! The event will take place on 16.11 — 17.11.  and it will be held on-site only. The link for the registration is here, and registrations will be accepted until the 31st of October.

The presentation of the pilot will showcase the residency experience of artist Pilar de Burgos at Boden Business Park, supported by the Art Hall Havremagasinet länskonsthall Boden, who acted as intermediate between the parts. The pilot’s visit of the AVARA Art & Tech event is organized in collaboration with the NDPC and project-partner BusinessOulu.

The presentation of the pilot will be held on the 16th of November, from 16:30 to 18:00, in the Cultural Center Valve (Hallituskatu 7).

The fruitful aspects from the collaboration between an artist and a business will fit in the two-days AVARA Art & Tech event (organized by the OAMK Centre for Arts Innovation together with Taike Taiteen Edistämiskeskus – Arts Promotion Centre Finland) context, pertaining to the themes of digital and sustainable development within creative industries.
