The 8th International NDPC Cultural Forum “The COVID-19 Era- Breakthroughs and Possibilities of Creative Industries” will be held on 11th of November online and onsite in St Petersburg, Russia.
United Nations General Assembly named year 2021 The International Year of the Creative Economy for Sustainable Development and clearly placed a focus on the contribution of culture to sustainable development and the global economy.
Nevertheless, despite of Culture and creative industries intrinsic agility, power to connect people, inspire and regenerate, the sector has experienced huge transformations and challenges to cope. Therefore this year’s Forum “The COVID-19 Era- Breakthroughs and Possibilities of Creative Industries” invites to reflect about new ways of collaboration, professional competencies, and the CCI potentials in this shift of sustainability. The forum aims also to share examples of inspiring initiatives and concrete projects with new insights to synergies and the CCI in sustainable development.
The Forum will host two panel discussions:
10:00-12:00 (CET) Cultural and Creative Industries, Sustainability and New Ways of Collaboration
Participants: Inga Surgunte (Head of the Sustainable Development projects at the Latvian Museum Association, Latvia), Ugis Zanders (Priority area Officer at Council of the Baltic Sea States, Sweden ), Prof. Marina Matetskaya (Researcher at National Research University, Higher School of Economics, Russia), Anna Yalova (Deputy Director for development, Manege Central Exhibition Hall), Anna Porse Nielsen (CCI expert, CIO Seismonaut, Denmark). Panel is moderated by Ekaterina Sachkova (Director of Creative Industries Agency, Russia).
13:00-14:30 (CET) COVID Impact and Transforming CCI Sector
Panel is moderated by Alla Manilova, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.
