Last few days left to register! AWAKE cross-sectoral hackathon in Culture and Wellbeing (May 2025)

The deadline to register for the AWAKE Online Hackathon is approaching fast! The
participants have until 20 May 2025 to sign up via the Hacktribe platform and join the Team Formation Workshop, with the very last call to join the hackathon on May 26!

The event, taking place from 26 to 28 May, invites artists, cultural professionals, health workers, entrepreneurs, and students to collaborate across disciplines and develop innovative ideas at the intersection of culture and wellbeing. Organised by the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture (NDPC) and co-funded by the Creative Europe programme, the AWAKE Hackathon offers a unique opportunity to explore how creative practices can contribute to sustainable health and care solutions. Over the course of 48 hours, participants will work in teams to develop project ideas, receive mentorship, and pitch their concepts to an international jury for a chance to win a €800 prize.

To help prospective participants better understand the format and expectations, NDPC hosted a live info session on 13 May. The full recording is now available on YouTube and includes a detailed walkthrough of the hackathon structure, challenge areas, team formation process, and evaluation criteria. The session also explains how to use the Hacktribe platform, connect with mentors, and prepare a final pitch. The video is recommended for anyone still considering participation or seeking clarity before the registration deadline!
