NDPC announces the launch of the CultureAndHealth Platform

As a partner, NDPC is excited to announce the launch of the CultureAndHealth platform website. The initiative, led by Culture Action Europe, will run for four years and is planned to support more than 200 emerging artists across Europe working in the fields of arts, social work, healthcare, and more.

The aim of the platform is to contribute to societal change by providing support to artists through grants, calls, mobility, and networking opportunities to promote the importance of the arts in healthcare and social innovation. In this context, the platform facilitates ongoing societal change by fostering meaningful collaboration between arts and healthcare workers, sectors, and networks.

What CultureAndHealth Offers:

  • Financial Support – Over 170 artists will receive grants to carry out projects or engage in international learning mobility opportunities.
  • Learning and Development – Through more than 60 trainings and 30 peer-learning workshops, artists and professionals will expand their knowledge, explore new practices, and share their experiences.
  • Networking – Four international conferences in Finland, Austria, Romania, and Belgium, alongside many onsite and online events, will showcase innovative practices and foster connections.
  • Online Community – Launching in 2027, our digital platform will enable matchmaking between the health and cultural sectors.
  • A Stronger Voice for Culture and Health – Aligning with EU priorities to enhance cultural participation, promote health equity, and integrate the arts into public health strategies.

Artists will also benefit from national points of contact across 14 countries, who will assist in adapting the project to their own language and context. As a national point of contact in Latvia and a partner of the platform, NDPC is proud to be part of this network, supporting meaningful collaboration across the culture, health, and community well-being sectors.
