Introduction: About CCI4change project & the interaction between culture and sustainability

In May 2024 the 3 innovation seed money open calls are to be announced in Latvia, Finland and Sweden. To help CCI practitioners build cross-innovation skills and create clear proposals for the calls, partners are organising 3 parallel capacity building programmes in all three surroundings. Below you can find English information about an event held in Latvia.

Kā mākslas, kultūras un radošo nozaru praktiķi var iesaistīties ilgtspējīgu risinājumu izstrādē? Pasākumi Jūrmalā, Rīgā un tiešsaistē sniegs iespēju paplašināt zināšanas un sagatavoties gaidāmajam 9900 EUR vērtajam radošo inovāciju konkursam “Ieslēdz Kaugurus!”. Reģistrējies te.

Pirmajā apmācību pasākumā, kas 8. aprīlī plkst. 16.00 norisināsies Ziemeļvalstu Ministru padomes birojā, Marijas iela 13/3 (Berga Bazārs),  varēsi uzzināt vairāk par vēlāk pavasarī gaidāmo 9900 EUR vērto “Ieslēdz Kaugurus!” radošo inovāciju konkursu. Konkurss sniegs iespēju īstenot radošu pilotprojektu Kauguros, Jūrmalā.

Seminārā iepazīstināsim ar projektu “CCI4Change” un pastāsīsim vairāk par to, kā mākslas, kultūras un radošo profesiju pārstāvji var sinerģiski sadarboties ar pašvaldību, lai kopīgiem spēkiem iesaistītu iedzīvotājus ilgtspējīgākā enerģijas patēriņā. Kādu lomu šādā sadarbībā var ieņemt kultūras un radošo nozaru profesionāļi? Kādus pilotpasākumus iespējams veikt Kauguros?

Lūdzam ņemt vērā, ka reģistrācija pasākumam ir obligāta. Pasākums ir paredzēts mākslas, kultūras un radošo jomu profesionāļiem un studentiem. Tas ir bez maksas, un tajā var piedalīties ikviens interesents. Ziemeļvalstu Ministru padomes biroja telpās notiekošajos klātienes pasākumos ir ierobežots dalībnieku skaits, un reģistrācija ir atvērta tikai līdz brīdim, kad ir sasniegta pasākuma kapacitāte.

Projekta pasākumus Latvijā nodrošina projekta vadošais partneris Ziemeļu dimensijas Kultūras partnerība – starpvaldību organizācija, kuras sekretariāts atrodas Rīgā. Pasākumi tiek īstenoti ciešā sadarbībā ar projekta partneri Jūrmalas pašvaldību, un tos vadīs Marta Kontiņa (Story Hub).

“CCI4Change: Iedzīvotāju enerģijas patēriņa paradumu maiņas veicināšana Baltijas jūras pilsētās un pašvaldībās” projektu 80 procentu apmērā līdzfinansē Eiropas Savienības INTERREG Baltijas jūras reģiona programma, bet 20 procenti ir projekta partneru līdzfinansējums.

Creative and Cultural sector practitioner skill-building events in Jūrmala, Riga and online will provide opportunity to build skills and prepare for the upcoming “Switch on Kauguri” innovation open call worth 9900 EUR. Register here.

In the first workshop event (held in Latvian at the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia Marijas street 13/3, Riga), you will have an opportunity to know more about “Switch on Kauguri!” innovation open call worth 9900 EUR. The call will open later this spring and provide the opportunity to implement a pilot in Kauguri, Jurmala.

The workshop introduces the project “CCI4Change”, and how arts, culture and creative professionals can work in synergy with the local muncipality to engage citizens for more sustainable energy consumption. What kind of role can the cultural professionals have, and what kind of pilot activities are expected to happen in Kauguri?

The event invites especially professionals and students in the field of arts, culture and creative industries in more wide. Also, anyone with the interest to the topic of art, culture and creative fields role in sustainability, are welcome to join. The seats are limited, and registration closes when the event is full.

Please note, that all events need registration. The onsite events at the Nordic Council of Ministers have a limited attendance and the registration is open only until the event is full. The project events in Latvia are facilitated by the project’s lead partner NDPC – an intergovernmental organisation with secretariat located in Riga. The events are organised together with project partner Jurmala Municipality and facilitated by Marta Kontina (Story Hub).

80% of “CCI4Change: Facilitation of Citizens Energy Consumption Behavioural Change in BS Cities and Municipalities” budget is Interreg BSR co-funded with the remaining 20% coming from the project partners.
