Save the date for the Creative Residency for Sustainability Pilot Presentation and Dialogue!

How can new collaboration formats between arts, business communities and art institutions be relevant for sustainability?  

On September 22, at 14:00 CET/15:00 EET, you are invited to learn more more about the Creative Residency for Sustainability pilot experience. In the spring 2023 Boden Business Park hosted the 7 week residency by (Norrbotten, Sweden) by visual artist Pilar de Burgos. The local arthall Havremagasinet served as the intermediary, bridge builder between the parties. The aim of the residency was to generate new dialogues and encounters around the topic of sustainability through artistic means. 

The event will revolve around this collaborative journey of the artist, business park and the art institution. You will hear the presentation of the step-by-step process, the artistic approach created in during residency, and learnings from the journey. You can join us onsite at Havremagasinet (Boden, Sweden), or online – for the first part of the event (in English).

This event is part of the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture NDPC led project “Creative Cross-Innovations for Sustainability” set to support the emergence of creative cross-innovations where professionals from the arts, culture and creative fields cross over to other sectors of society in new forms of collaborations. The project is implemented by the lead partner the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture, financed by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and supported the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland.
