Webinar in English “How to craft a good application?” with additional discussion in Latvian

In May 2024 the 3 innovation seed money open calls are to be announced in Latvia, Finland and Sweden. To help culture and creative field  practitioners build cross-innovation skills and create clear proposals for the calls, partners are organising 3 parallel capacity building programmes in all three surroundings. Below you can find English information about an event held as a part of the event programme in Latvia.

Šajā tiešsaistes seminārā mēs sīkāk pastāstīsim vairāk par CCI4Change radošo inovāciju konkursu, kas maija sākumā tiks izsludināts Kauguros, Jūrmalā. Pasākuma mērķis ir sniegt atbalstu mākslas, kultūras un radošajiem profesionāļiem, lai sagatavotu veiksmīgus priekšlikumus konkursam.

“Ieslēdz Kaugurus!” inovāciju konkurss mākslas un kultūras pilotprojektiem tiks izsludināts 2. maijā un būs atvērts līdz 31. maijam. Pilotprojekta mērķis ir saistošā veidā izaicināt Kauguru iedzīvotāju enerģijas patēriņa paradumus. Inovāciju konkursa vērtība:  9900 EUR.

Tiešsaistes semināra laikā uzzināsi vairāk par konkursa specifiku un par to, kā sagatavot veiksmīgu pieteikumu, kā arī atbildes uz interesējošiem jautājumiem.

Tiešsaistes seminārs norisināts 9. maijā plkst. 18.00. Lūdzam ņemt vērā, ka reģistrācija pasākumam ir obligāta. Pasākuma valoda galvenokārt ir latviešu, bet daži ievadvārdi – angļu valodā. Pasākums ir bezmaksas, un paredzēts kultūras un radošo jomu profesionāļiem, kā arī studentiem, kurus interesē CCI4Change projekts un radošo inovāciju konkursa iespēja. Pasākuma Zoom saite tiks nosūtīta visiem reģistrētajiem dalībniekiem.

Krista Petäjäjärvi (Ziemeļu Dimensijas Kultūras partnerības sekretariāta vadītājas pienākumu izpildītāja un CCI4change projekta vadītāja) sīkāk pastāstīs, kā vislabāk izklāstīt savu ideju un iepazīstināt ar savu unikālo pieeju.

Edgars Razinskis (CCI4change projekta vadītājs Jūrmalas pašvaldībā) dalīsies ieskatos no Jūrmalas perspektīvas par to, kāda vērtība tiek sagaidīta pilotprojekta un kāds ieguldījums sagaidāms, īstenojot pilotdarbību.

Marta Kontina (StoryHub) kā radoša uzņēmēja dalīsies savā skatījumā par to, kas ir kvalitatīvs piedāvājums un kā to pamatoti saistīt ar vērtēšanas kritērijiem.

Projekta pasākumus Latvijā nodrošina projekta vadošais partneris Ziemeļu Dimensijas Kultūras partnerība – starpvaldību organizācija, kuras sekretariāts atrodas Rīgā. Pasākumi tiek īstenoti ciešā sadarbībā ar projekta partneri Jūrmalas pašvaldību, un tos vadīs Marta Kontiņa (Story Hub). Plašāka informācija par pasākumu ciklu lasāma šeit.

“CCI4Change: Iedzīvotāju enerģijas patēriņa paradumu maiņas veicināšana Baltijas jūras pilsētās un pašvaldībās” projektu 80 procentu apmērā līdzfinansē Eiropas Savienības INTERREG Baltijas jūras reģiona programma, bet 20 procenti ir projekta partneru līdzfinansējums.

Projektu īsteno Ziemeļu Dimensijas Kultūras partnerība (vadošais partneris, sekretariāts atrodas Latvijā); Jūrmalas pašvaldība (Latvija); Kotkas pilsēta (Somija); Skones reģions (Zviedrija); Cursor Oy: (Somija); Föreningen Stapelbädden/STPLN (Zviedrija) un Dienvidaustrumu Somijas Lietišķo zinātņu universitāte (Xamk) (Somija).

In this webinar we will elaborate on the pilot open call launched for the CCI4Change activities in Kauguri, Jurmala. The webinar goal is to support arts, culture, and creative actors to draft successful proposals for the open call.

The “Switch on Kauguri” innovation open call for artistic and cultural pilot project will be launched 2^nd of May and open until 31^st of May. The goal of the pilot project is to challenge Kauguri citizens energy consumption habits in an engaged way. The worth of the innovation open call is 9900,00 EUR.

The webinar takes place on 9 May at 18.00. In the webinar you will hear brief inputs to support how to draft a successful proposal, and what could be worthy to consider in this particular open call. After the inputs there is a possibility to ask questions.

Please note, that the event requires registration. The event will be held in English with discussion in Latvian, it is free of charge and everyone interested is welcome to join.

Meet the speakers:

Krista Petäjäjärvi (Acting Head of the Northern Dimension Partnership on Culture Secretariat) will elaborate how you pitch your idea in the proposal document and communicate your unique approach.

Edgars Razinskis (project lead at the project partner organisation Jurmala municipality) shares insights from the perspective of Jurmala, what kind of value the pilot activity is foreseen to have, and what kind of contributions are expected with the pilot.

Marta Kontina (StoryHub), shares her perspectives as a creative entrepreneur, what is a proposal of good quality and and how to relate to the evaluation criteria in a solid way.

The event is facilitated by Marta Kontina. The event language is mainly Latvian, but some inputs are made in English. The event is intended for culture and creative field professionals and also students, who are interested in the CCI4Change project and the open call possibility. The event zoom link will be shared with all registered participants.

The project events in Latvia are facilitated by the project’s lead partner NDPC – an intergovernmental organisation with secretariat located in Riga. The events are organised together with project partner Jurmala Municipality and facilitated by Marta Kontina (Story Hub).

80% of “CCI4Change: Facilitation of Citizens Energy Consumption Behavioural Change in BS Cities and Municipalities” budget is Interreg BSR co-funded with the remaining 20% coming from the project partners.
